Aam Panna Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 raw mangoes
  • 1 cup sugar or jaggery (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon regular salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Water

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the raw mangoes thoroughly and then pressure cook or boil them until they become soft.
  2. Once cooled, peel off the skin and extract the pulp from the mangoes.
  3. In a blender, combine the mango pulp with sugar or jaggery, and blend until smooth.
  4. Mix in the roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and black pepper powder into the blended mango pulp. Blend once more to thoroughly combine all the ingredients.
  5. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness and seasoning according to your liking.
  6. Pour the mixture into a jug and dilute it with water to achieve your preferred consistency. Stir well.
  7. Refrigerate the Aam Panna for at least one hour before serving.
  8. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh mint leaves and ice cubes if desired.
